i agree. i like the photojournalistic style better. i think i captures the moments better and more accurately.

It really doesn’t matter if you use Nikon or Canon…
(Garry Fong it is a good choice to difuze the light of flash, I recommend to use flash only it is absolutely necessary)
It is importing your skill and stile: photographic or photojournalistic one.
The idea of two “twins” photographers is good one:),
and one important “technologic shock” :)
I prefer strait and photojournalistic stile, loving more to catch the people in their natural and expressive moments… wpja member, de:)

most don’t handle them very well. I have two assisstants, one of which is female, and she drops more stuff in one wedding day, than i have me whole life no lie. They just look so eww with camera that big!

photonelectron July 26, 2009 at 11:33 AM

For those knocking the lightsphere— you see how they have their Clear LS with the inverted dome on pointed toward the wedding party? That’s what’s recommended for outdoor LS use– and it works great for a bit of diffuse fill, even at a little distance. They have it already on a bracketed flash, so there would likely be zero need to use it straight up and down especially indoors. It makes for an excellent diffuser. I use my LS almost exclusively outdoors because it diffuses so beautifully.

1st, people are good or bad regardless of what they use. If you suck, you suck. If you’re great, you’re great.

2nd, I consider myself a PHOTOGRAPHER. I’ve rented Hassablads, barrowed Mamiya, played with Bronicas, Minolta, Canon & Nikon/Fuji. I’m planning to buy a Crowngraf.

You limit yourselves once you lock yourself into a system. Unlike you lots, I am a “photographer” and I can use anything. I own Win, Mac & Linux.

Try growing up. You can be “A xxxxxxxx User” or be a “photographer”.

Love this video. I just started in wedding photography, this video really inspiring.

I think the music is called “The Book of Love” by Peter Gabriel. You can find it from the “Shall We Dance” soundtrack.

I’m a wedding photographer, it’s not the wheel. I have them and frankly don’t use them.

stan1328 August 21, 2009 at 8:23 AM

she’s using a nikon d2x/s with a sb-800 flash

wbrazil99 August 21, 2009 at 4:39 PM

Those Are LightSpheres From Gary Fong. They Are A MUST For Weddings And Special Ocasions.

startowa August 21, 2009 at 6:25 PM

I think she’s shooting with Sony A900, if she does then she doesn’t have to hold the camera in a certain way because of the image stabilizer in camera body…

What kind of flash diffusers are those?
